The sale already has a place. A Shopify page. A WhatsApp thread. A phone in the merchant's hand. Asking the buyer to leave that place is how you lose the charge.
Destination apps die for a simple reason. Nobody asked for another home screen.
Pay where the conversation is
A payment link in the chat is not a lesser product. Hosted checkout on the shop they already run is not a compromise. A till on the phone they already carry is not a side quest.
Those surfaces exist so the merchant does not have to migrate customers to our brand. We plug into the shop. We do not replace it.
Plugins are not decoration
If the merchant already sells on Shopify or WooCommerce, the honest path is the plugin. Not a new storefront they have to learn. Not a consumer wallet they have to explain.
If they sell from a message, the honest path is a link and a receipt. If they sell at a counter, the honest path is the phone they are holding.
We will not ask a buyer to install lomi. to finish a payment they already know how to make.
What we will not build
A consumer super-app. A destination checkout that exists so we can feel like a platform. A till that only works if the street learns a new brand first.
Stay in the shop. Take the money. Send the receipt. That is the product.
If they already have a shop, pay should live there.
